About Us
Dagupan is a city in Pangasinan province of the Philippines. It was originally named Bacnotan by the Augustinian missionaries from Spain in 1583, an encomienda, a commercial and financial center of Northern Luzon, Philippines. It was renamed Nandaragupan which means, where people meet and became a city on June 20, 1947. The actual location of Dagupan City is near the Lingayen Gulf, where the Bonuan Bangus “milkfish” source is found in abundance. A variety of seafoods is also found in this same place. And now, it is considered as the most progressive and famous culinary city of Pangasinan.
In 2003, Dagupan City received an award and was officially declared by the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest barbecue “Bangus Grilled displayed during yearly festival and harvest of celebration by its respective residents.
